Michael Maher has been involved in banking and finance since 1987 when he started with the Commonwealth Bank owned, State Bank of Victoria. Michael relocated to WA in 1988 and was promoted within the lending/finance divisions of Bank of Western Australia during the following ten-year period. Michael successfully fulfilled the position of BankWest Senior Mobile Banking Development Manager until 1999, when he decided to leave and pursue the rapidly expanding Mortgage Origination Industry as a licensed Finance Broker. He further progressed and was responsible for launching the Professional Lenders Association Network of Australia in Western Australia, before successfully establishing three successive start up specialist Mortgage Lenders. Michael also has proven expertise in distribution, product development and pricing and has experience in lending on a national basis. He has an extensive network of contacts Australia wide and is very passionate about the success of the finance intermediary industry.
